Trout Fishing is available all year in the Willamette valley.

The McKenzie and the middle fork Willamette fish well throughout the year.

Some sections of the McKenzie River are planted with hatchery trout, while other sections are not supplemented with hatchery fish.

This will give fishermen the option of angling for fish they can keep to eat, or strictly catch and release for wild red side trout.
